Welcome to my Blog! I am so glad that you are here!
My name is Farheen and I live in Ontario, Canada. I am married to Asad, my absolutely wonderful husband of 28 years! I have 2 children. My son, Faizan, who is 27 and married to Ayesha - they are expecting a baby any day now! - and my daughter, Mahjabeen who is 21 and is a Singer/Songwriter. Our baby of the family is Benji who is a Goldendoodle.
I have thought about writing a blog for a very long time but have not had (what should I say?) the courage to do so. Personally, I am a very private person and an introvert. Certainly not a good combination of qualities for a blogger - I will talk about this in my future posts. However, I feel that I have grown as a person and now is a good time to start. To be honest, I have been inspired by my daughter-in-law, Ayesha, who does vlogs on YouTube and is a fashion influencer on Instagram and Tiktok. She has taught me to be bold and fearless in whatever I want to do. My biggest supporter is my husband who has always encouraged me, throughout our marriage, to keep growing and to have faith in my abilities.
Events that have happened over the past couple of years (aka the pandemic) have made me think about a lot of things - about my own past, about how it has shaped me and what I would like to do with the future. I will write personal blogs in which I will candidly talk about my life experiences - past, present and future and I hope you will join me on this journey! I hope to inspire you and would love to have conversations with you in the comment section.
